AR Mirror Pro — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AR Mirror Pro ("the App") is developed and operated by ScandiPower ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights under applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Camera and Face Data

The App uses your device's front-facing camera and Apple ARKit to provide real-time augmented reality experiences, including virtual makeup try-on, face masks, and skin analysis. Face tracking data (facial geometry and landmark positions) is processed entirely on your device in real time. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any facial geometry, biometric data, or camera images to any server or third party.

3.2 Photos and Videos

When you take a photo or record a video within the App, the content is saved directly to your device's Photo Library. These files remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

3.3 Microphone Audio

If you enable the microphone toggle during video recording, audio is captured from the device microphone and embedded in the video file saved to your Photo Library. Audio is processed locally and is never transmitted externally.

3.4 Skin Analysis Results

The App's skin analysis feature uses on-device image processing to detect skin conditions. Analysis results, scan history, and personalized recommendations are stored locally on your device only. No skin analysis data is transmitted to external servers.

3.5 Authentication

The App supports Sign in with Apple for optional account creation. When you sign in, Apple provides us with a user identifier and, if you choose, your name and email address. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain. We do not store your Apple ID password.

3.6 Purchase Information

In-app purchases (Pro subscription) are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.

3.7 Preferences and Settings

Your app preferences (saved makeup looks, mask adjustments, light bar settings, GDPR consent choices) are stored locally on your device.

Where we process personal data, our legal bases are:

• Consent — for camera access, microphone access, photo library access, and optional Sign in with Apple. You may withdraw consent at any time through your device Settings.
• Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the App's features you have requested.
• Legitimate interest — maintaining app functionality and improving user experience based on local, anonymized settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

All personal data processed by the App remains on your device. Authentication credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, which is hardware-encrypted. The App does not operate a cloud backend or external database. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including Face ID, Touch ID, and device passcode.

7. Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over retention. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data, including preferences, scan history, and saved looks. Photos and videos saved to your Photo Library persist independently of the App.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we process about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Restrict processing — request limitation of how we use your data
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple ARKit — for face tracking (processed on-device per Apple's privacy policies)
• Apple StoreKit — for managing in-app purchases (handled by Apple)
• Apple Sign in with Apple — for optional authentication (handled by Apple)
