FanMirror Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

The short version: FanMirror collects no data. No required account, no servers, no tracking, no ads. Everything — including face tracking — happens on your device. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.

1. Who we are

FanMirror is developed by Ferhat Yigen, Denmark (data controller). Contact: fyigen@gmail.com.

2. Face data (ARKit)

FanMirror uses Apple’s ARKit face tracking to place flag light frames, masks, and head-tracked text in real time. Face geometry is biometric data under GDPR Article 9 and is processed exclusively on your device, with your explicit consent, given in the app before the camera starts. It is never stored and never transmitted — each frame is discarded immediately after rendering. We have no servers and no technical ability to receive it.

3. Photos and videos

Captures are created only when you press the shutter and are saved to your iOS Photo Library only when you choose to save or share. They never pass through any server of ours.

4. Optional sign-in (Sign in with Apple)

FanMirror works fully without signing in. You may optionally use Sign in with Apple to personalize the app. If you do, the identifier Apple provides — and the name Apple shares on first sign-in — is stored only in your device’s secure Keychain. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else: we have no servers and no technical ability to receive it. Sign out at any time (Profile → Sign out) to erase it from your device. The sign-in itself is handled directly between your device and Apple; see Apple’s Sign in with Apple & Privacy.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases (FanMirror Pro) are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details and no personal information about you. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings; refunds via Apple.

6. What we don’t do

7. Local data and your rights (GDPR)

Your preferences (selected flag, settings, consents) are stored only on your device. In the app, the gear (top left) → GDPR & Consent lets you view the processing register, withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)), and erase all locally stored data (Art. 17). Because no data ever reaches us, access/portability requests are fulfilled instantly on-device.

You may lodge a complaint with the Danish supervisory authority: Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk.

8. Children

FanMirror is rated 4+. Since no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
