2. Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the app require a TrueDepth camera?

AR Mirror Pro uses Apple's ARKit face tracking, which depends on the TrueDepth front camera to capture a real-time 3D mesh of your face. Without TrueDepth, virtual makeup, masks, and the skin analysis feature cannot align correctly with your facial geometry.

Which devices are supported?

Any iPhone or iPad with a TrueDepth front camera running iOS 18.0 or later, including:

Is my face data uploaded anywhere?

No. All face tracking, makeup rendering, mask compositing, and skin analysis run entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any facial geometry, biometric data, or camera images on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open the app and go to the Profile tab → SettingsDelete Account. This permanently removes your saved looks, scan history, skin profile, and locally stored credentials from the device. The action cannot be undone.

Is Sign in with Apple required?

No. Sign in with Apple is optional and only used to sync your preferences across your own devices. You can use the full app without signing in.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → SubscriptionsAR Mirror ProCancel Subscription. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

In the app, go to ProfileSubscriptionRestore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

The camera permission was denied — how do I fix it?

Open the iOS Settings app → scroll down to AR Mirror Pro → toggle Camera on. Without camera access, the AR features cannot run.

The app feels slow or hot — what can I do?

AR rendering is computationally intensive. Try closing other camera-using apps in the background, ensure iOS is up to date, and avoid running the app on a near-empty battery. On older TrueDepth devices, lowering visual effects in Settings → Performance can help.

3. Reporting Bugs and Requesting Features

You can submit bug reports and feature requests directly inside the app:

Alternatively, email us at armirrorpro@gmail.com. Including your device model, iOS version, and a short description of the issue helps us reproduce and fix it faster.

4. Data and Privacy

AR Mirror Pro is designed to run on-device. We do not operate servers that store user content, face data, or analytics tied to your identity. For full details on what is processed and how, please see:

5. Refund Requests

Subscription refunds are handled directly by Apple, not by ScandiPower. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Refund decisions are made at Apple's discretion.
